Towarzystwo Naukowe Organizacji i Kierownictwa TNOiK /The Scientific Society for Organisation and Management/ is a non-government, non-profit institution of 80-years tradition. Its mission is development and promotion the professional management and integration the communities of scientists and practitioners (companies) for the development of Polish economy and the Polish state.
The Gdansk Branch of TNOiK supports the development of knowledge-based society through the partnerships for the application to international educational programmes (Leonardo da Vinci) and European Social Fund (including Community Initiative EQUAL) and through the implementation of projects results.
TNOiK Gdansk promotes the idea of social and citizen dialogue as ways to support regional socio-economic coherency and provides services in order to develop entrepreneurship in the following areas: training, advice and information in the frame of National System of Services for SMEs.
Main activities:

providing training courses for individual adult people (mostly unemployed) and for companies,
including elements of ITC training in specific areas;
realization international research/training programmes;
providing consultancy on how to apply for EU Programmes, ESF, ERDF and how to establish cooperation with foreign partners from Eastern and Western Europe;
running mediation missions with participation of own experts (mediators registered in Ministry of Labour and Social Policy);
organizing workshops, seminars, conferences for companies, institutions and organizations.

TNOiK is accredited by National System of Services for SMEs (KSU) and possesses a registration certificate of the Training Institutions Registry of Provincial Labour Office in Gdansk. TNOiK has at its disposal a lecturing hall for 40 persons with complete audio-visual equipment and a computer laboratory with 10 training stands and organizational/technical facilities for training undertakings.

Main activities: providing training courses for individual adult people (mostly unemployed) and for companies, including elements of ITC training in specific areas; providing as the author, an economic education program related to employer's needs addressed to young people, called "Young Manager's Club" which was implemented in 1991 and which has been completed by 800 participants in 25 courses held so far. This program includes the ICT training of computer use in SME; realization international research/training programmes; providing consultancy on how to apply for EU Programmes, ESF, ERDF and how to establish cooperation with foreign partners from Eastern and Western Europe; running mediation missions with participation of own experts (mediators registered in Ministry of Labour and Social Policy); organizing workshops, seminars, conferences for companies, institutions and organizations.
